About
The Fibre Arts Society is a place for anyone interested in knitting, crochet, embroidery, and sewing to come work on their personal projects with like-minded peers. Complete beginners and experts welcome!
We host weekly get togethers where members can exchange knowledge, patterns, and materials while working on whatever fibre arts related project they choose to bring in a chillaxed space. We also will have some fun workshops coming up including knit a scarf, crochet granny squares, embroidering your clothes, seasonally themed projects, and sewing stuffed animals.
Our committee members are more than capable of teaching you the basics of these techniques, so don’t be afraid if you don’t know anything! Basic materials will be provided for beginners, but experienced members are encouraged to bring their own.
